I am interested in some type of medical career that entails studying Human Anatomy and Physiology and Cellular Biology. Recently, I have considered pursuing the career of a physician’s assistant; however, I am still uncertain if this is the career I want for the rest of my life or if this career will even suit my personality and educational interests. It is fair to say that I am absolutely confused when it comes to selecting a career. Although, hopefully the opportunity to explore the medical field (specifically Physician’s Assistant for this purpose) both in our current research and in my studies at college will provide me with an idea of what specialized career might be best for me. One thing I am sure of is that I am interested in the general areas of Human Anatomy and Physiology and Cellular Biology, because I genuinely enjoy the experience of learning in classes such as Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and AP Biology. These subjects serve as a cadaverous foundation compared to the depth of the functions and processes of living organisms, that need to be mastered by any health care professional. It is the complexity of life, the fact that so many organs, tissues, cells, and proteins are all working harmoniously to produce a functioning organism, in other words a mixture of curiosity and awe, which ignite my passion for this field.
